Helen McCrory, who was best known for her roles in Harry Potter and Peaky Blinders died on Friday. The news of her death was confirmed by her husband Damian Lewis. Fans and celebrities including Anushka Sharma and Vicky Kaushal paid tribute to the actress. Anupam Kher also took to his social media and penned an emotional note as a fitting tribute for the late actress. Anupam Kher remembered her for her works in Harry Potter films and Peaky Blinders.

Sharing two photos of the actress, he wrote, "All deaths are saddening & tragic. But there are times when you feel a deep sense of loss with someone leaving this world even when you don't know the person. #HelenMcRory was one such actress. Great in #HarryPotter films and electrifying in #PeakyBlinders. RIP @lewis_damian."

Helen McCrory's husband Damian Lewis shared the news of the actress' death via tweet. He shared, "I'm heartbroken to announce that after an heroic battle with cancer, the beautiful and mighty woman that is Helen McCrory has died peacefully at home, surrounded by a wave of love from friends and family. She died as she lived. Fearlessly. God we loved her and know how lucky we are to have had her in our lives. She blazed so brightly. Go now, Little One, into the air, and thank you."

Talking about Anupam Kher, a few days ago, he confirmed that wife Kirron Kher has been diagnosed with blood cancer. He has been updating fans about her health. Also as per reports, on the work front,  Anupam Kher won't be returning to season 3 of the hit drama 'New Amsterdam' as Kirron Kher continues to battle cancer.
